Hi, PoetforChrist. What a great way to live your life with faith. Using the written word. I try to as well. I can't write poetry though. It takes a special person to do that. I can see that is you.

i humbly thank you both, but I am just doing what the Lord has called me to do, just trying to get more of His message out their and trying to help others with the words given in the poems. My Physical body doesn’t let me do a lot. But thanks to the Lord giving me this gift I can at least be an encouragement to others.

I'm always so thankful for people who love the Lord and want to share that love with others.

always try and do my best, though have to admit it is hard when buttons are pushed the wrong way. But its how we learn isn't it?

not sure what m-a-p question is, but I keep writing whatever God insipers me to write, though its been slow lately. I just try and be patient and wait on Gods timing.

oh well right now just working on trying to get my books to sell lol other wise will never get my royaltys , don't get a check until you make $100 of sold books

write because you have a message, not because you want money...

i am writing because I have a message, not for the money, why I have my books at a low price for the most part, so they will get into hands of people that will read them and learn about the Love of Jesus. You think I do this for the money? I am on disability the only money I get is once a month, $725-$275 for rent $60 sponsoring 2 children through cupsofcoldwater.com Yes I spend some for fun things I like to do, but I don't get a lot, would I like to make a little more of course who wouldn't. Just make do with what I got. Just hard to give books away. More people that buy my books the more I can give away. I had a goal of using the $100 from the royaltys to buy my books to give them away to some country that can't buy them.

Don't feel guilty for earning money for the talents the Lord gave you to spread the word. We should get paid for our work, even Jesus would agree:

only sold maybe 7 books, 4 to family 2 by friends, don't try and worry about anything, just try and Trust Jesus to provide and do what He needs to do, though might need a new laptop soon if more keys start sticking, hard to write poetry when having to hit keys over and over until the letter that you want comes up lol.

AGREED!!  dont feel guilty!  but if you have a message, write it with the motivation to encourage your reader, rather than profit...

there is NOTHING wrong with profit...it is not a dirty word!  but we are dealing here with something that transcends profit (encouragement from God)....

So you are a poet? I think that's neat. I used to write poetry all the time, mainly nature poetry, but I lack the same level of creativity that I used to have.
