did that REALLY happen?

Grand Hummingbird Story
Saturday was a warm, dry, sunny day, and I spent all afternoon helping a neighbor with his garden. I finally returned home as the sun was setting…it was getting dark and it was getting cool

I walked straight into the grand piano room, and discovered I had a visitor – a hummingbird! He perched on the exposed wire that hangs from the ceiling that runs to a hanging lamp, but when i entered he flew frantically all around the ceiling looking for an opening, but kept returning to the wire to perch. The room has no operating windows.

What did i do? Immediately i spoke with our loving heavenly Father - 'Father - what can i do to help this bird? i need Your help.'

Then i spoke to my visitor 'hello....i want to help you.'

The hummingbird came off the ceiling and landed nearby on the grand piano; i walked over to the piano and, standing 2-3 feet from him, calmly spoke to him again 'i'm not gonna hurt you...but i'm gonna reach out and put you in my hand so I can take you outside.'

A few seconds later, i reached out and softly closed my right hand around the bird, which did not move....then walked him outside and set him on the deck railing; after a few seconds he flew to a branch in a tree about 15 feet above the ground!!

it all happened in about 30 seconds!

LOve this. I had a little bird come in and get lost in my blinds and i had to pick him up and take him outside too.

What an amazing experience! It just goes to show how much God loves all of His creatures.

and - not a bird falls from the sky that our loving heavenly Father is unaware!

I love hummingbirds. Probably one of my favorite birds. There's actually a moth that looks almost exactly like a hummingbird, it's pretty amazing.
