Job 3:20-21
Job 3:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;
21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;
Job 3:20-21 Good News Translation (GNT)
20 Why let people go on living in misery?
Why give light to those in grief
21 They wait for death, but it never comes;
they prefer a grave to any treasure.

20 Without God we have misery but thru Him we can have a joy that the world does not understand, a hope when everything does not go our way because He is in control. He is our light.
21 To wait on death is to have a life without hope which is a person who truly does not have life. There are those who do not seem to like being happy but the happiness this world gives fades but thru Jesus happiness remains and gives us joy deep down in our heart.

20 God does not want us to be sad but wants us to find happiness in Him. Without Him we can not find true happiness, He gives us a joy that we can not find else where. God allows grief sometimes to draw people closer to Him.
21 To want to die is a sad state of depression, it is a place without any hope, Jesus died to give us hope of something better, something we do not deserve but have been given if we are willing to receive Him as our Lord.

Re: Job 3:20-21
Job is one of the most awesome books in Gods word, in my opinion! NO question that God wants His children to find solace and happiness in Him..alone!
unable to find the passage where Job speaks of Jesus though!!
