Being Humble
"Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life" Proverbs 22:4
I found an article where psychological benefits have been identified for being humble.

Re: Being Humble
I recognized several of the authors he cited. I always find it highly satisfying when the research studies we're made to investigate and study at school serve to solidify what the Bible has been telling us for thousands of years. Unfortunately, many of the students and professors tend to see them as boring, and they'll seek studies that attempt to support their own secular viewpoints.
Re: Being Humble
yeah...agreed miss lora! one of the downsides of secular education....; sigh...

Re: Being Humble
I think it's all about creation vs science. People are still so hard to please and get to understand the unknown to them. They need tangible evidence. If only they'd believe and trust and have faith.
Re: Being Humble
yeah....sigh...
hey - science and faith are FAR from being mutually exclusive!!
there is ample evidence supporting creation; on the other hand, there is basically zero evidence for evolution! in fact, evolution is essentially a 'philosophy', not a science...

Re: Being Humble
I know right, one only needs to look at the complexity of creation to see that a higher power is at work. look at seashells for example, how the lines on them are so even, look at a snowflake under the microscope to see the intricate patterns, it's obvious God is real and creation proclaims His presence
