How many people are in your church?

Post by slybelvedere on Wed Aug 05, 2015 11:57 am

Just wondering, how many people are in your church? I've only really ever attended small churches. One church I went to had under ten members at one time. I think I like small churches because they're more focused on the Word of God than the socializing aspect, in my opinion.

I have been to small churches (although not as small as just ten members), and I've been to large churches. I think every church has a different feel. I think I prefer smaller churches, but not too small (like ten members, hee hee). However, I've attended large churches where the members were warm and loving. I think the difference is whether there is a real love and desire for God in the church.

I liked the under ten member church but at the same time there was a certain level of disorganization and if even one person was not at church or not actively listening to the sermon it would somehow affect the whole service. And I have been to a large church (an African American church to be exact) where the people were singing and dancing loudly during worship, and that was a neat church too.
