Job 3:9-10
Job 3:9-10
Job 3:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
Job 3:9-10 Good News Translation (GNT)
9 Keep the morning star from shining;
give that night no hope of dawn.
10 Curse that night for letting me be born,
for exposing me to trouble and grief.

9 This is not Job referring to himself but him referring to the sun coming and the day happening that he was born, Job wished that they day prior to his birth and that night would not end.
10 Job may have been born at nighttime and is showing regret that the night time came so he could be born. Job knew grief would not happen if he was not born, to have so much grief to wish that we never were will not ever be the state many of us will be in but if we are ever down then we can learn that from Job that someone has had it worse than ourselves.
