#Christians -Americans- Gradually Losing #1stAmendment Rights

Post by 1st Amendment on Sat Mar 01, 2014 7:11 pm

As government cracks down on Christian crosses in military grave yards, ten commandments displays around courtrooms, and other Christian displays, private institutions, like Purdue University, are following their lead. However, I don't know how business savvy it is to turn down a donation just because the plaque from the donors had the word "God" in it. It seems to me a business plan made for financial ruin, but maybe that's just me. As a person who has attended college, I can say that the last thing I noticed were the little plaques placed on buildings, benches, etc. from generous donors, what with all of the stresses of papers, exams, and deadlines always looming. If the secular world has such a weak backbone that they cannot tolerate even the mention of "God," we as Christians better get one and start standing up for our rights for the free exercise of religion. There was a time when public schools opened up the school day with a prayer every morning and children could lug a Bible to class. Now...not so much.
