Wishy-Washy #Obama

Post by Tank on Sat Mar 01, 2014 6:31 pm

In response to Russia's latest threat to international security by threatening Ukraine's Crimea peninsula, Obama stated, "Any violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity would be deeply destabilizing. The United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine." Obama didn't say what we would do, or how Russia would suffer as a result of their actions. With Putin's grand standing and chest thumping in America's face over the past few years, it's clear he has no respect for Obama. I mean really, what is there to be done at this point? Putin seems to have the upper hand. Our response to world crisis is flaccid at best. Obama's premature withdrawal from Afghanistan, his willingness to allow China to step all over us in world trade, and his reluctance to make good on his promises to act if Syria stepped over the line--just to name a few of Obama's incidences of impotency-- seem to be the green light for the world's superpowers to start misbehaving however they see fit to satisfy their own interests. The recent military uprising of Russia's forces is evidence of this. Believe me, this has serious implications for Christians worldwide. Obama's fears to stir the waters doesn't prevent war from happening, it makes the world less safe, as can be seen in escalating world unrest and the continued incarceration of American Pastor Saeed Abedini and others like him. World powers are free to do as they wish without fear of retribution for the formerly most powerful nation on earth. Obama's refusal to even acknowledge the existence of this unjustly imprisoned American citizen, even in the face of a massive outcry for Obama to do something--say something--speaks volumes. Imprisoning and killing Christians, even American Christians, means nothing to these countries who used to fear us. In the span of just two presidential terms, Obama has reduced America from the most powerful nation on earth to just another kid on the block. It's a travesty.

I came on here to post something on this exact topic. I could not put it so eloquently. But I agree fully in what you have stated.
